Who's at the door?

I answered the door and guess who I found? Camery, Alisha, Kamryn and Janessa. They were standing there ready to go trick or treating, in March. Girls are so weird!

Hurry up Spring

Is everyone as excited for spring we just can't wait to be outside. I have been taking a gardening class on Saturdays and I just can't wait to get growing some tomatoes. Spring has always been my favorite season. Maybe it has something to do with the kids playing outside, yeah!

Happy Birthday Mom

We went with Kirt's family to celebrate Moms b-day. She is such an amazing person and we love her with all of our hearts. This was a fun lunch we enjoyed without kids, and we were definitely not short on the laughter.

Valentine Surprise

This is what we found outside our bedroom door on Valentines morning. You gotta love kids!

A Night at the Museum

Shaylee was Rosa Parks for her 5th grade wax museum, She spent alot of time researching and learning about Rosa. Everyone in the 5th dressed up like an American hero and put together a night at the museum. Good job Shaylee!

Starting with two..

Have you ever thought about how it all started with two? They had children and then their children had children and so on and so on. My Grandma Rosie used to say to Grandpa Herbie " We started all of this." Just like my Grandma, I am amazed and so blessed to be part of such a wonderful family. A big thank-you to my family for all the support, love, friendship, examples, laughs and prayers. I am so grateful to all of you and for the goodness and joy that you bring into my life. I love you all. I am so blessed to continue on the love of two people in my own little family. One day I know I will look back in amazement just like Grandma Rosie and say to the love of my life, Kirt" We started all of this."

Winter Choral Concert

Camery's first choir concert and she rocked the house. She has been singing in the girls choir this semester and has been invited to sing in the advance class next semester. Camery really loves to sing.

Alisha's Christmas Dance Recital

Alisha's Dance class performed a dance for her school. She danced the part of a toy top. She was fabulous

Gingerbread house

We made gingerbread houses with my family again this year. After our visit from a mouse last year, making his home in Camery's gingerbread house, all of the girls ate thier homes before I could get a picture. This is mine....and boy what a temptation it was for everyone as it sat on the kitchen table until Christmas.

Backyard Sledding

Kirt turned our slide into a sledding hill. With all the snow shoveling this week , and making this hill , his back really made some sacrifices for his girls. (What a Dad!) The girls got sleds for Christmas and this turned out to be one of our favorite memories of Christmas......Hit the deck ( a card game) was a one of them also.

Backyard Sledding

Christmas 2008 continued

This year we were able to sleep until 6:30 and nobody spent the whole night asking us if they could get up yet. (How unusual) We didn't even have anyone throw any high drama into Christmas so our morning was allready off to a great start. But seriously we had a great Christmas playing games and spending time together.
